Dear Mr.Sutton
I will try to convince you to make Hornby High School start at 9:00 like all other schools instead of 8:30 because 8:30 is too early in the morning, kids don't have enough energy and there is still plenty of time to do work. I will now explain these three reasons.
I chose this to write about because Hornby high School Starts too early in the morning it should start at 9:00 like most other schools. This is because 8:30 is too early in the morning and parents and kids don’t get enough sleep. If they don’t get enough sleep they will be tired for the rest of the day.
9:00 still gives kids plenty of time to do work and have morning tea and lunch having periods go for 1 hour still. Morning tea and lunch will still be at the same times. We just won’t have that 30 minutes before 9:00 at school.
8:30 is to early in the morning because people have to get up at around 7:15 to get to school on time and that is really early. If they get up at 7:30 they have to get ready fast and they will lose energy and get tired.
So I believe that Hornby High School should start at 9:00 so kids aren't tired. They have energy to get through the day and they will still have plenty of time to do work. I hope you make the right decision and make it start at 9:00.
